Dog Gone Cute! Part Deux

Hey,

I am back. I was able to get my vintage iMac repaired and I am so happy. Mainly because they were able to retrieve all the stuff I should have been backing up!

Now to play catchup with sharing some of the things I have been up to while I have been computerless.

I Finished my Dog Gone Cute Mini Cooper, but he's lonely and needs a pack. Which, is a good thing since I have signed on to do Lorna's blog hop!

His friends will be the smaller version and nice and colorful. I picked up this bundle of Cotton and Steel Basics at my LQS. Shocker, huh? They are finally wading into the modern end of the pool and I couldn't be happier.

Now, I just have to clean up the carnage created after back-to-back paper piecing projects and I can catch up with the hop!

Thanks for visiting!

  1. I love how you quilted mini Cooper...too cute. I like to think of all the carnage as small fabric confetti's left over from a fantastic quilting party...so it looks like a good time was had by all at your house. And those are the best kind of parties to have.

  2. Good news about your computer, Gayle! Cooper does look very handsome. The quilting is such a compliment. Can't wait to see the rest of your pack.... And all your paper piecing projects, too!

  3. I love, love your block! I almost joined the quilt-along but since I'm having trouble keeping up with the others I joined, I decided against it. But I will enjoy watching your progress.
I know what you mean about the LQS. I remember asking one near me if they carried Cotton + Steel fabrics. Their answer was "no, we aren't sure we'll order any yet". And this was after C+S was already a hit. Still scratching my head over that one.

  5. Aw, I bet Cooper loves his quilt! Your Cotton and Steel bundle will make a great alternate version, too. Glad you could find some moderns at your LQS. A store near me has decided to specialize in modern fabric (Yay!) Unfortunately they were damaged by smoke from a fire in an adjoining space a couple of months ago and are under restoration (Boo!) I can't wait until they are back. Your snippet mess is a sure sign you've been having fun!
